7-Inch Smart Display: New CAN Bus Model with Custom CAN ID Protocol + GPIO from Winstar

Winstar is introducing a a new 7-inch Smart Display model in the CAN Bus Series, featuring Custom CAN ID protocol along with GPIO support. This new model expands the capabilities of the product line.

  • Automatic Self-Test and Initialization: Automatically performs self-test and initializes the display upon power-up for a seamless and reliable setup.
  • CAN Bus Interface: Provides stable CAN Bus communication with support for Custom CAN ID protocol at a default speed of 250KB, enabling versatile system integration.
  • 16MB Flash Memory: Includes 16MB of flash memory to store fonts and object dictionaries, enhancing performance and supporting complex graphical interfaces.
  • Capacitive Touchscreen: Utilizes projected capacitive touchscreen technology for a responsive and intuitive user experience.
  • Integrated Buzzer: Features an integrated buzzer for audible feedback, enhancing user interaction.
  • GPIO Support: Adds 8 bi-directional GPIO channels with TTL 3.3V logic levels, configurable through PC tools and Smart Display GUI Builder, providing additional hardware connection options.
  • Host Platform Compatibility: Compatible with computers via USB-to-CAN adapters, Raspberry Pi with PiCAN2, and MCUs such as Arduino with a CAN adapter.
  • User-Friendly Interface Design: The WINSTAR GUI Builder software supports drag-and-drop interface design with a WYSIWYG approach, available for Windows systems.
